The inside lining features Pooh with his friends in their Halloween costumes. Also, this bag has a front pocket (we like that front pocket on the Loungeflys).

ALERT: Price Increase Hits Popular Disney Character Dining Restaurant

When it comes to food, things are changing ALL the time in Disneyland.

Goofy’s Kitchen

A TON of new Halloween treats will be arriving in the parks, at Downtown Disney, and hotel restaurants soon. Several new restaurants have opened recently in Downtown Disney. We just got an opening timeline for yet ANOTHER new restaurant coming to Downtown Disney. We also learned about a fun Halloween character dining experience coming soon at Goofy’s Kitchen, but we’ve got a word of warning: the price of that dining experience has gone up.

Character dining at Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel used to be $55 per adult and $33 per child (3-9) for breakfast and $64 per adult and $36 per child for lunch and dinner. As of August 23rd, that price will be $65 per adult and $36 per child for breakfast and $75 per adult and $39 per child for lunch and dinner.

Goofy’s Kitchen spread

This price increase starts just as the new Halloween dining experience at Goofy’s Kitchen begins. This experience starts on August 23rd and runs through October 31st. During that time, characters will appear in their Halloween costumes, and special seasonal offerings will be available on the buffet, like prosciutto and arugula eggs benedict with sun-dried tomato hollandaise and orange Mickey waffles for breakfast and cheese ravioli with pumpkin cream sauce and BBQ pork spare ribs for dinner.

Pluto at Goofy’s Kitchen

We’re not sure if this price increase is permanent or if Disney just implemented it for the Halloween dining experience, but if something changes, we’ll be keeping an eye out for it. Reservations are open now for the Halloween character dining experience at Goofy’s Kitchen, so if you’re interested, make that booking now!

Goofy’s Kitchen

Meanwhile, Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is also having a fall character dining experience for breakfasts this Halloween season, so if you can’t grab reservations at Goofy’s Kitchen, that could be a good backup. Those reservations are also open.

Stay tuned to DFB for more.

‘Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares’ Haunted Maze Coming to Rockefeller Center

Jimmy Fallon recently announced the debut of “Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares,” a haunted maze experience coming to Rockefeller Center.

Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares

A hooded figure with red eyes and sharp claws grabs a terrified man, reminiscent of the spine-chilling scenes you might find at Halloween Horror Nights. Other eerie figures and skeletons appear menacing in the background, creating a nightmarish tableau fit for Tonightmares on Jimmy Fallon.

In honor of the Halloween season, Jimmy Fallon is unleashing a brand new immersive Halloween experience in the heart of New York City. Taking inspiration from Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida, the new haunted maze experience, “Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares,” will be based on some of Fallon’s biggest fears.

Guests will travel through 10 rooms once inside the maze. Fallon described the contents of some of the rooms, hinting at a cornfield with killer scarecrows, werewolves, aliens, brain-eating zombies, murderous AI robots, and an abandoned gas station.

Book Review: “Witches Run Amok: The Oral History of Disney’s Hocus Pocus” Tells the Complete Story of a Halloween Classic

I’m one of those lucky 90’s kids who saw Hocus Pocus during its original theatrical release. Like Dani, I was 8 (and a little more than a half) in 1993. Disney Channel played a lot of behind-the-scenes looks at the film leading up to its release, so I was hyped when my Wisconsin hometown’s newspaper advertised an […]
