Disney/Pixar’s “Elio” will be released on June 13, 2025. Zoe Saldana has joined the cast and will play Elio’s aunt.

Elio and a friendly monster ride a translucent blue creature through a colorful, sparkling space-like environment, holding bright drinks and smiling.

New concept art also depicts Elio in his science fiction world.

An animated character named Elio, with dark hair and a blue eye patch, reaches out excitedly towards colorful, hanging, glowing objects in a whimsical, dimly lit scene.

The film was originally supposed to be released in 2024 but was pushed back because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

A young animated boy, Elio, stands on a lit platform in front of a futuristic backdrop with various figures in pods.
