Gideon’s Bakehouse took to Instagram to announce the return of the Key Lime Chocolate Chip Cookie for August 2024.

Key Lime Chocolate Chip Cookie – $6.00

Vanilla Bean Cookie Dough infused with Florida Key Lime Juice and covered with Chocolate Chips and special Key Lime Pie Crumbs.

The Key Lime Chocolate Chip Cookie returns after being the July cookie in 2023. The limited-edition cookie looks very similar to the Original Chocolate Chip Cookie but has added sea salt and cake crumbs. Guests can purchase up to two cookies per person at Gideon’s Bakehouse every day of August.

Generally, Key lime overpowers all other flavors it mixes with. That is not the case here. The cookie offers a subtle lime flavor which doesn’t take away from the flavor of the Original Chocolate Chip Cookie. Chocolate and salt flavors add to the overall flavor of the delectable snack. We think that fans of Key lime and those who only like the flavor in small doses will be pleased with this offering.

The entire August 2024 menu can be found above. Though not listed on the menu, a new Key Lime Graham Cracker Cake will be available every Wednesday and Saturday in August. The three-layer cake is covered in both Key Lime Cream Cheese Frosting and a new Graham Cracker Buttercream. Key Lime Curd will be found between each layer. This cake is limited to two slices per person.

Woman of the Wake will be found on the front of the August menu. However, collectors will want to hurry to the store, as she will only be featured on the menu for the first half of the month. Midway through August, an undisclosed character will be featured on the menu.
