The Country Bears are bringing the holiday cheer back to Tokyo Disney Resort with the return of the “Jingle Bell Jamboree” seasonal overlay to the Country Bear Theater.
Country Bear ‘Jingle Bell Jamboree’ to Return to Tokyo Disneyland
The seasonal overlay will be available to guests from November 8, 2024, through January 13, 2025.
The Oriental Land Co. describes the show as a “fun-filled revue as the Country Bear Band presents a selection of cheerful winter songs to ring in the Christmas season.”
Country Bear Theater is the Tokyo Disneyland version of the original 1971 Country Bear Jamboree from Walt Disney World, which recently reopened as the reimagined Country Bear Musical Jamboree in July.
The Jingle Bell Jamboree debuted at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 1984 as “The Country Bear Christmas Special.” In 1988, it debuted in Tokyo Disneyland. While the U.S. parks retired the seasonal overlay in 2000, Tokyo Disneyland continued its version until 2019. It has since been on hiatus with no word of when or if it would return. We previously reported all references to the seasonal show being removed back in 2023.
In May, the Country Bear Vacation Jamboree, a summer overlay that also ended in 2019 at Tokyo Disneyland, also returned. It is the current version available for guests to enjoy at the time of publishing. Now, with the return of the Jingle Bell Jamboree, the Country Bear Theater has returned to its pre-pandemic state.
