A group of people dressed in black robes and glowing blue skull masks poses in a dark cobblestone alley illuminated by street lamps, reminiscent of Universal Studios Japan's Halloween Horror Nights.

Death Eaters last appeared during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Japan in 2016. They’re taking over Hogsmeade again this year as part of the 10th anniversary celebration of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Japan.

The Death Eaters roam Hogsmeade, hunting down Muggles and battling guests. They are Voldemort’s followers and keep their faces covered with illuminated skull-like masks.

Guests might also see signs of giant spiders (Acromantulas) and the Dark Mark above Hogwarts Castle.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Japan runs through November 4.

Death Eaters also appear in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida during Halloween Horror Nights 33.
