Disney Vacation Club Announces Details of Refurbished EPCOT Lounge

Disney Vacation Club has officially announced details of the refurbished member lounge in the Imagination! Pavilion of EPCOT.

Disney Vacation Club member lounge with a reception desk, “Welcome Home” sign, modern seating, and a TV screen in a brightly lit room with geometric patterned carpeting.

As previously revealed, the lounge will be renamed the Disney Vacation Club ImaginAtrium – A Member Lounge. It will feature an “engaging new exhibit of archival photos and images,” as well as comfortable seating, complimentary soft drinks, a children’s entertainment area, Wi-Fi, and member services advisors.

The lounge will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the second floor of ImageWorks in the Imagination! Pavilion. A reopening date has not been announced but it seems it will reopen soon.

A valid Membership Card and photo ID are required at check-in. The name on the Membership Card must match the name on the photo ID. A Member can bring up to 4 guests or the number of guests on their Resort reservation booked with their Membership.

The lounge has been closed for refurbishment since June. It was originally scheduled to reopen in July. A temporary lounge was available at the Odyssey Pavilion for a few weeks but is also now closed so the Odyssey can be used for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
