Minion Cafe at Universal Studios Florida has debuted a new dish perfect for spooky season: the Evil Minion Totchos.
Minion Cafe is located at the end of Illumination Avenue, at the former site of Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Cafe. The entrance is across from the Universal Music Plaza.
Here’s a look at the menu, which includes the new Evil Minion Totchos.
Evil Minion Totchos – $12.99
crispy minion tots relaxing in their pimento cheese sauce tot tub with crispy pork belly, jalapeño relish, tomatoes, and ranch
We got a big kick out of the description for this dish. The Minions are served in a tot tub. And they’re good. The pork belly was a little chewy and the dish was unbalanced with a bit too much relish and cheese, but it’s still very enjoyable. If you’ve had too many drinks at HHN and need something to even you out, get this.
The Minion Tots are the same as the rest of the menu, which is to say, they aren’t your traditional tater tot. They’re mashed and shaped fried potatoes, similar to the “smiley” potatoes found in school cafeterias. They’re good, but they aren’t what you expect when you order tater tots.
It’s a good value and a nice addition to the menu at Minion Cafe. Kids probably won’t like it, but adults might enjoy indulging in some elevated Minion Tots.
