Japan Airlines (JAL) revealed their Fantasy Springs-themed airplane, which will begin domestic flights in late October.
Fantasy Springs Airplane
The JAL Fantastic Journey Express is a specially painted Boeing 767-300ER. The design features three colorful sections inspired by Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Never Land, all themed areas in Fantasy Springs. Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, Tinker Bell, and Peter Pan are all pictured.
The Fantasy Springs experience continues onboard the craft. There are themed headrests featuring the Fantasy Springs characters. Class J seats have red headrests, while Economy Class seats have black.
There are also three specially designed paper cups, each inspired by a different Fantasy Springs area. Guests cannot choose their design.
Guests will also receive a commemorative boarding pass sticker. There are also three designs available but guests cannot choose which one they receive. The back features a picture of the plane. The stickers are limited to one per passenger per flight.
Inflight music will include “You Can Fly!” from Peter Pan and “Journey to Fantasy Springs” playing during boarding and deplaning.
The Fantasy Springs airplane is the sixth collaboration between JAL and Tokyo DisneySea since the park opened in 2001. It’s set to be in service from late October 2024 through November 2025.
