Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine is 2024’s second-most successful film, as the expletive-laden love letter to Marvel’s 20th Century Fox films has grossed over $1,000,000,000 and sits just behind Inside Out 2 in worldwide gross. However, if you didn’t see it in theaters, we know when the hit threequel will be available to watch at home!
In late September 2024, Disney announced that Deadpool & Wolverine will be available to purchase digitally beginning on October 1st, with physical Blu-Ray copies going on sale on October 22nd.
The film is listed at a digital preorder price of $29.99 at various outlets including Apple and Amazon with a rental option also available. The Blu-Ray edition of the film will see 3 editions released — including two individual steel book releases: one for Deadpool and one for Wolverine, naturally — all featuring 4K Blu-ray editions of the films as well as a selection of bonus features and deleted scenes.
Be the first to watch #DeadpoolAndWolverine from the comfort of your living r-hugh-m.
The film, a sequel to the first two Deadpool films as well Fox’s X-Men series, stars returning favorites Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, reprising their roles as the respective title characters, as Deadpool teams with Wolverine to save his universe from extinction at the hands of the Time Variance Authority, while at the same time trying to make his way into the “sacred timeline” AKA the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Deadpool & Wolverine, the highest-grossing live-action film of the year, is scuttled to be released digitally on October 1st, followed by a physical release on October 22nd. Stay tuned to DFB for further coverage of Disney’s entertainment releases.

Four years after Disney+ launched, Disney has shut down several other streaming apps, consolidating their services.
DisneyNow and More Shut Down
In August, Disney notified customers of various streaming apps that they would shut down on September 23. As of that date, DisneyNow, ABC, Freeform, FXNow, and Nat Geo TV apps are all no longer available. Their respective streaming websites remain up, but any links to the apps have disappeared from the web.
DisneyNow was a precursor to Disney+ that launched in September 2017, combining the streaming services for Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD. Various DisneyNow content has moved to Disney+ over the years, including “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “That’s So Raven,” “The Proud Family,” “Phineas and Ferb,” and “Gravity Falls.”
The shutdowns are meant to encourage users to instead subscribe to Disney+ and Hulu.
Disney+ Basic (with ads) is $7.99/month, while Disney+ Premium (without ads) is $13.99. This week, Disney+ launched a paid “extra member” option as they crack down on password sharing.
Hulu’s basic plan is also $7.99/month. Its plan with no ads is $17.99/month. There are also various bundles available for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.
