Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- After nearly a full year, the King Triton statue has returned to its rightful place in Magic Kingdom, complete with a fresh coat of paint (and no more grime).
- Progress on the Adventureland pavement refurbishment continues in Magic Kingdom, with the work now extending past the entrance to the Swiss Family Treehouse.
EPCOT
- A new manatee friend now calls The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT home after Lil Joe’s previous companion, Lou, was recently relocated.
- A new retro-style Figment head tote bag is now available at Walt Disney World.
- A few changes have arrived at the Imagination! Pavilion in EPCOT: new signage has been installed for the refurbished DVC Lounge, and the elevator shaft once painted by Imagineer Walter Peregoy has been painted in a new color scheme.
- Annual passholders can no longer make park pass reservations for EPCOT on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Construction has resumed in the outdoor seating area of Baseline Tap House at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Tokyo Disney Resort
- A rumor suggests that Disney is planning on replacing Splash Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland.
- The theme song for the new Tokyo Disneyland nighttime spectacular, “Reach for the Stars,” is now available on music streaming platforms.
- New premium miniature figures of the various Toontown houses are now available at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Entertainment and Media
- Jon Watts, his production company Freshman Year, and producer Dianne McGunigle have signed a first-look feature deal with Walt Disney Studios, Deadline reports.

- Universal has added more themed graffiti and props to the Halloween Horror Nights 33 Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida.
