The 7 Best AND Worst Halloween Horror Nights 33 Food and Drinks

We reviewed all the Halloween Horror Nights 33 food and drink items available at Universal Studios Florida. Now we’ve narrowed those down to the best and the worst menu items of the annual event.

The Worst 7

#7 – Eye of Otis Mocktail (Fanta’s Bridge Bar)

A clear plastic cup filled with a purple liquid and ice sits on a glossy red table, perfect for those wild nights at Halloween Horror Nights 33. An illuminated drink container with graphics is partially visible on the right side, inviting guests to eat and drink amidst the spooky festivities.

The Eye of Otis cocktail is slightly better than the mocktail, but neither is particularly good. The mocktail was downright disgusting.

#6 – Forbidden Falafel (Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines)

A hand holding a cardboard container with a falafel pita wrap filled with falafel balls, lettuce, tomatoes, and drizzled with a creamy sauce, against an outdoor urban backdrop. Perfect for those nights when you're exploring the city or need something savory before heading to Halloween Horror Nights.

This falafel should be forbidden. It’s chalky and dry with bland pita.

#5 – Garraka’s Icy Breath (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire #1)

A hand holds a plastic cup filled with blue liquid, ice cubes, and a white flower-shaped garnish—a perfect treat for Everything You Can Eat & Drink at Halloween Horror Nights.

The “Ghostbusters” booths look great but the menus leave a lot to be desired. We don’t know who the audience is for this non-alcoholic drink. It’s not sweet enough for kids to want it and it’s not interesting enough for adults — and it’s not good.

#4 – Slimer’s Korean Corndog (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire #1)

A person holds a fried, skewered food item topped with various seasonings and bits in a cardboard tray, with a street, trash bins, and a green post visible in the background—perfect for an Eat & Drink review during Halloween Horror Nights.

This corndog is impossible to eat since the skewer goes all the way through. But you don’t want to try to eat it anyway, it’s an abomination.

#3 – Abbott’s Farm Corn Chowder (A Quiet Place)

A bowl of creamy soup garnished with chopped green onions and paprika, containing visible chunks of vegetables and corn—perfect to eat & drink while reading reviews about Halloween Horror Nights 33.

This is mostly warm water with a hint of corn. The two shrimp didn’t make a difference.

#2 – Sinist3r Spritz (Lombard’s Fanta Bar)

Three plastic cups of beverages on a white surface at Halloween Horror Nights; one with a yellow drink, one with an orange drink, and one with a green drink. Eat & Drink and enjoy the spooky ambiance!

This is just Fanta Orange with alcohol but you can’t taste the Fanta — just Aperol. It’s gross.

#1 – The Frozen Death Chill (Ivan’s, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire #2)

A person holds a cardboard tray containing a skewered snack, covered in crispy corn chips, with a street scene and recycling bin in the background. Perfect for those reviews on local eats or while enjoying events like Halloween Horror Nights.

We’re back at a “Ghostbusters” booth for our least favorite offering. It’s terrible. It tastes like toothpaste. We’re not sure what it is other than a mistake.

The Best 7

#7 – Twisted Tater (Twisted Taters)

There’s a reason Twisted Taters are a Halloween Horror Nights staple. They’re fried, greasy, salty, and easy to eat on the go. You can’t go wrong with the seasoning salt, which is the original classic. Crispiness varies but the taters are good either way.

#6 – Mini Stay-Puft S’more (Ivan’s, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire #2)

A roasted marshmallow figure resembling a character lies on a chocolate and graham cracker base, creating a unique s'more, held in a brown paper container. This delightful treat is perfect for those enjoying the spooky ambiance of Halloween Horror Nights.

All of the other “Ghostbusters” items disappointed us but this s’more was a winner. It’s simple but delicious. It takes an adorable photo and it’s easily shareable.

#5 – Pepperoni Pizza Skulls (57 Scare)

A piece of baked bread shaped like a skull is placed in a white paper holder on a dark surface, perfect for savoring during Halloween Horror Nights 33.

This is another classic treat that’s easy to eat on the go. The pizza crust shell is good. It’s stuffed with mozzarella, marinara, and plenty of pepperoni.

#4 – Shirley Black (Slaughter Sinema 2 / The Carey Drive-In)

A glass of dark bubble tea with tapioca pearls on top, placed next to an open bag of yellow Lay's chips on a red table. Perfect for a quick snack as you get ready for Halloween Horror Nights 33!

This was the best cocktail we had at HHN 33 even though it’s a pre-mixed drink. The blueberry popping pearls are a nice touch. The alcohol is masked. Everything is well balanced.

#3 – Cyclops Cup (Major Sweets Candy Factory)

A small, round, chocolate-covered dessert with a chocolate disk on top, placed on a decorative black plate on an outdoor table. A fence and water are visible in the background, making it an ideal treat to enjoy while reading reviews about Halloween Horror Nights.

This is messy and hard to cut but it’s worth the effort because it’s delicious. The shell is dark chocolate and the filling is like a fluffy ice cream.

#2 – Vegan Walking Taco (Slaughter Sinema 2 / The Carey Drive-In)

A bag of chips is cut open and filled with toppings, including shredded cheese, sour cream, and diced vegetables—perfect for a quick bite at Halloween Horror Nights.

This looks disgusting but it’s legitimately spicy with a strong flavor and a robust texture profile.

#1 – Slashed Siblings Sweet Sampler (Triplets of Terror)

Three desserts are on a white tray: a pink balloon-shaped mochi, a small cake with frosting and sprinkles, and a black ice cream scoop with a waffle cone. Perfect for an "Eat & Drink" session while reading reviews or planning your visit to Halloween Horror Nights 33.

The bubblegum mousse balloon is phenomenal. It tastes like Bazooka bubble Gum with a bright and balanced flavor. The texture is great.

The funfetti cupcake is simple but well done. The cake is moist with rich frosting.

The chocolate cheesecake cone is done well, too. It’s rich with dark chocolate on the outside and a nice bite from the cheesecake.

All three are tasty and the presentation is good.
