Are you planning a Disney World trip for 2025? Well, you don’t have much longer to plan because 2025 will be here before you know it.
Maybe you’ve worked out your budget and thought about how long you want to stay at Disney World. But have you put a lot of thought into where you’ll stay? Picking out the right hotel for you and your group could be the most important decision you make. If you plan on staying on Disney World property, though, some hotels are clear winners over others for 2025, and we’re going to tell you why.
Before we get to our list of the best hotels for 2025, we’ll tell you how we came up with these choices. First, we looked at hotels that will have construction happening in or around them in 2025 so we could delete them from the list. Then, we looked at our readers’ most popular personal preferences, including some fan-favorite Disney World hotels, as well as anything NEW coming to Disney World hotels in 2025. So, let’s get on with it, shall we?
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
We’re starting with a deluxe hotel because you might want to stay at a deluxe resort that’s just a quick Monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Our pick is the Polynesian because the theming is ON POINT, and the new Disney Vacation Club villas will be opening at the end of 2024, so you can book them for 2025. The Island Tower at the Polynesian will offer rooms with plenty of space if you have a larger group.
Not only can you book duo studios, but you’ll also be able to book one- and two-bedroom villas that will feature a full kitchen, outdoor patio, and even your own washer and dryer. The new tower will also have two-bedroom penthouse villas with views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
If money is no object, then we say book the YOLO hotel, the Grand Floridian, one of the most expensive hotels on Disney World property. This hotel is LUSH and even has its own spa if you want to treat yourself even better during your Disney World vacation. It’s also on the Monorail and features Mary Poppins-themed rooms—what’s not to love?
Also, 1900 Park Fare just recently reopened, so if you want an elevated character dining experience (and strawberry soup), you’ll have it right there. There’s also some excellent fine dining here, including Narcoossee’s and the Michelin-starred Victoria & Albert’s.

The Cabins at Fort Wilderness
Disney’s The Cabins at Fort Wilderness have officially opened, and they’re perfect for a 2025 stay if you have a group you’re bringing along with you. Each cabin can sleep up to six adults and include one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room, a full kitchen, and a private patio.
Even better? If you’re bringing a furry companion with you, some cabins are even dog-friendly. The cabins also feature a lot of fun rustic detailing that makes you feel like you’re camping but with a roof over your head.

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin
The Swan and Dolphin is pretty much our fave hotel NOT owned by Disney on Disney World property. First, you get the same perks (Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours) that you would get at a Disney-owned deluxe hotel at prices that are generally lower than what you would pay at a Disney World deluxe hotel. Oh, and it’s also a Marriott property, meaning you can earn Marriott Bonvoy rewards points, as well as use them on stays (which could lower your cost even more).
The location of this hotel is also one of the best in Disney World. It’s in the EPCOT area, meaning you can walk to all the other hotels in the EPCOT area, as well as EPCOT and the EPCOT Skyliner station. You have access to a lot of great dining at the Swan and Dolphin, but you can also eat at the numerous other restaurants in the area or on the Skyliner route. It’s a win-win!
3 Reasons Why We Stay at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel Again and Again in Disney World
Disney’s Pop Century Resort
We love being close to the Skyliner in Disney World, so why not stay at a hotel with Skyliner access? The good news is that you can stay at a value resort and get that. Granted, the Skyliner DOES usually temporarily close in January for a few days for refurbishment, but you should have access to it (weather permitting) through the rest of the year. We also love Pop Century for its fun over-the-top decades theming, but something NEW is coming to Pop Century soon, too.
The food court at Pop Century is under renovation, which means it will be freshly updated in 2025. Now, we don’t know if that means you’ll have new menu options (we can only hope), but the renovations could mean this is the value resort to stay at next year! This is also one of the few Disney World hotels that still has its own special themed dessert, the Tie-Dye Cheesecake.

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
Let’s say you’re on a serious budget or just don’t want to spend a lot of money on your hotel room. Disney’s cheapest resorts are the All-Star Resorts, but we have a favorite. That’s Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Why is this our favorite? Because we think it has the best theming when compared to the other All-Star Resorts. It’s all about Disney movies? What’s not to love about that?
Disney’s All-Star Movies features sections devoted to Fantasia (plus a Fantasia-inspired pool), Toy Story, 101 Dalmations, The Love Bug, and The Mighty Ducks. The rooms are identical to Disney’s other value resorts, but the theming is where this hotel wins our hearts.
