The Duchess Joins the Duke in The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom

The Duchess has rejoined the Duke at their graveyard table in The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom.

The two Audio-Animatronics were removed from the ride about one year ago. The Duke returned by himself a couple of weeks ago. Now the Duchess is back, although neither figure is currently operational. They are just sitting in the scene frozen, as you can see in our video below.

The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom has seen some TLC in the past year or so, including the addition of the Hatbox Ghost in the Endless Hallway scene. In the summer of 2023, Madame Leota was updated and Prince Amenmose, the tea-sipping mummy, returned. Rolly Crump’s Candleman was also added to the attic scene.

Over at Disneyland, Haunted Mansion Holiday is back for the Halloween-Christmas season, as construction continues on the grounds expansion around the attraction’s queue.
