The docuseries “Wayne Brady: The Family Remix” premieres on Freeform and streams on Hulu. It follows Brady and his blended family: his ex-wife, best friend, and business partner Mandie Taketa; their 21-year-old daughter Maile; and Mandie’s partner Jason. Here is the show’s description.

With actor, comedian, host and singer Wayne Brady at a sudden crossroads, “Wayne Brady: The Family Remix” offers an intimate look into his blended family’s personal life, revealing unexpected points of view and values that most people have a hard time understanding. Many people see their social media posts from family vacations, but there is more to be revealed behind the joyful 15 seconds of fun. Their real life is not always as easy and as simple as it seems. The series showcases what happens when an iconic entertainer peels back the curtain.

The five-time Emmy winner and “Whose Line is it Anyway?” singer grew up in Orlando, FL. He got his start in entertainment playing costumed characters Tigger and Goofy, and playing Ghostbuster Winston Zeddemore in “Beetlejuice: Dead in Concert” at Universal Studios Florida.

Brady’s other Disney-related work includes voice roles in “Sofia the First” and “Phineas and Ferb.” He appeared in the made-for-TV film “Geppetto” and Disney Channel Original Movie “Going to the Mat,” and in Freeform’s “Baby Daddy” and “Mixed-ish.” He co-wrote and performed the opening theme song for “The Weekenders.” In 2021, Brady starred as Remy’s father Django in “Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical,” a crowdsourced charity benefit concert based on the Pixar film.
