From the massive D23 Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California, we learned that a new Coco attraction is coming to the Disneyland Resort.

The attraction will be a boat ride in Disney California Adventure that, unsurprisingly given the plot of the film, will see music play a large role.
Josh D’Amaro went on to say, “Walt Disney Imagineering will draw inspiration for the attraction from beloved classics, like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. We’re bringing our skeletal cast of characters to life in a big way through the latest Audio-Animatronics technology. These figures will appear in ways you’ll have to see to believe.”
We’re excited to learn about this first ever attraction inspired by Coco! You’ll be joining Miguel on a special journey, seeing characters and hearing unforgettable songs from Coco on a trip to the Land of the Dead.

Disneyland’s new Coco attraction is set to break ground in 2026, so we will keep our readers informed when an opening date is announced. As of now, there no timeline for opening has been given but we are SO eager to learn more about this stunning and exciting attraction!
