Adventureland Pavement Now Extends to Breezeway Restrooms

Installation of the new themed Adventureland pavement now extends to the Adventureland Breezeway Restrooms.

Adventureland Pavement Update

A roped-off dirt area with a tree shadow nearby, nestled next to the iconic Adventureland pavement. People stroll along the adjacent path in casual attire, enjoying the relaxing ambiance.

The photo above is from our last update a little over one week ago. At that time, the new pavement extended just beyond the Swiss Family Treehouse and was blocked off by ropes and stanchions.

People strolling through Adventureland, surrounded by shops and palm trees, as the pavement extends beneath a bright blue sky.

As of today, October 3, the new pavement extends all the way to the Adventureland Breezeway Restrooms. The newest addition is the darker section of concrete seen in the above photo. As expected, the pavement has lightened considerably after drying.

The newest section of pavement is themed exactly like the other sections, with various footprints, pebbles, and “cracking.”

People stroll and stand in Adventureland, where the pavement winds through trees and strollers, with a building that boasts a peaked roof under the clear blue sky.

From this angle, you can see what the pavement looks like when large sections of it are complete. The red umbrellas in the center-right section of the photo are outside of Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen.

We first discovered the new themed Adventureland pavement in late August. Since then, a significant amount of work has been done. To avoid closing the walkway or running into severe bottlenecks, Disney has elected to replace one-half of the walkway at a time. You can see what we mean by this in the above photo where the section closest to the restrooms is still the old gray pavement.
