Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed that one of its upcoming hotels, Universal Terra Luna Resort, will open later than previously announced.

Terra Luna Resort Opening Delayed

Earlier this month, aerial photographer Bioreconstruct shared via X that the Universal Terra Luna Resort would be opening on March 25, 2025 — exactly one month later than previously advertised.

Universal Orlando Resort has now updated its booking page for the hotel on its website, confirming that Terra Luna Resort will indeed open on March 25. The hotel was originally scheduled to open on February 25, 2025 and had been accepting reservations.

Opening day availability through at least the first weekend of the hotel’s operation is not available to book on the Universal Orlando website; it’s possible that Universal could be giving priority to guests who had rooms booked in February and early March to rearrange their plans.

Universal Terra Luna Resort is one of two new resort hotels coming to Universal Orlando ahead of the opening of Epic Universe. Its sister hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort, is still on track to open on January 21, 2025 as planned.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel will open alongside the new theme park on May 22, 2025. Booking is open now.
