“World of Color – ONE,” the nighttime spectacular performed on Paradise Bay at Disney California Adventure, has set its reopening date following a six-week refurbishment.

‘World of Color – ONE’ Reopening Date

The nighttime show originally went down for refurbishment on September 9, 2024. It was previously scheduled to return to normal operation on October 23, 2024, but the refurbishment was extended.

According to the operating calendar on the Disneyland Resort website, the show will return with two performances on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 9 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. We previously reported a rumor that the show would return on that date.

However, the regular version of the show will not perform long before it is transitioned into “World of Color – Season of Light” for the holiday season. The holiday overlay of the show will return from November 15, 2024 through January 6, 2025.

“World of Color – ONE” first debuted at Disney California Adventure in January 2023. The show’s finale was altered following some guest confusion. Despite rumors suggesting that the original “World of Color” would return, the current show was brought back in January 2024, with minor additions to promote new Disney releases added over time.

Most recently, a pre-show celebrating “Inside Out 2” titled “Emotional Rollercoaster” was added in June 2024.
