On a recent visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we discovered that some of the former Chester & Hester Dino-Rama plush prizes, which were replaced in 2020 when the park reopened after COVID-19, are back.
Former DinoLand U.S.A. Prizes Return
Fossil Fun Games is set to close in January 2025, but before the attraction goes extinct, Disney has decided to bring back some classic prizes so guests can add them to their collection.
At Fossil Fueler and Whac-A-Packycephalosaur, guests can once again win a small prize of a dinosaur wearing red boxing gloves. The prize comes in green, pink, and blue.
At Bronto Score, guests can win a blue, pink, or green Stegosaurus. Another small prize option for this game is a pink Brontosaurus. The Stegosaurus plush prizes are also available at Comet Crasher.
The final prize is a saber-toothed tiger available at Mammoth Marathon. The prize also comes in pink, blue, and green.
All of these prizes are awarded to guests who earn small prizes for their victories. The medium prize at all games is the “Dino-Rama” Brontosaurus, and the large prize is Aladar from “DINOSAUR.”
Fossil Fun Games, TriceraTop Spin, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures will close early next year during the first stage of the DinoLand U.S.A. closure. Pueblo Esperanza will replace DinoLand U.S.A. with Indiana Jones and “Encanto” rides set to open in 2027.
