FULL TOUR of Ray’s Berets Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Gift Shop (with Shrek Reference) at Disneyland

Ray’s Berets, one of two new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure gift shops, is now open at Disneyland park.

Ray’s Berets Gift Shop

People walking towards Ray's Berets entrance, surrounded by trees and a wooden fence, some wearing colorful Ray's Berets to celebrate their Disneyland day.

Ray’s Berets takes over the shop that was once The Briar Patch. Check out our last look at the Splash Mountain store.

People strolling toward a Disneyland-themed adventure attraction entrance, enveloped by trees, with signs reading "Ray's Secrets" and "Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Ray’s Berets features a green mossy rooftop, albeit with less foliage than The Briar Patch had. Lights are strung between a pair of wooden poles between fencing in front of the gift shop. The Tiana’s Bayou Adventure sign is behind the fence on the right.

A wooden sign reads "Ray's Berets," adorned with various hats. A cartoon bee character is displayed in the center, evoking a whimsical charm reminiscent of Disneyland. The background, suggesting Tiana's Bayou Adventure, showcases trees and lampposts.

The sign on top of the shop features a carved and painted image of Ray the firefly holding a beret. Other carved hats are on the sign around the Ray medallion, with mismatched lanterns hanging over the words “Ray’s Berets.”

There are a few shelving units outside displaying ear headbands and bubble wands. One unit appears to be a recycled boat.

A rustic wooden log cabin exterior showcases a window with a man inside, surrounded by shelves of treasures. A "Letters" mailbox sign hangs nearby, hinting at stories within. Just like stepping into Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Disneyland, this scene promises charm and discovery at every glance.

A window looks into the store, with patched-up curtains pulled to the side. A Disneyland Mail Box is next to the entrance.

A charming merchandise store with hanging lanterns and colorful plush toys, reminiscent of Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Visitors eagerly browse shelves filled with unique souvenirs, capturing the enchantment of a Disneyland Gift Shop.

Inside, moss and blue lanterns hang from wooden beams. As the store’s name suggests, it mostly sells headwear like ears and hats.

Ray’s Berets is a haven for Ray’s firefly family. Dozens of jars atop merchandise displays and shelving units act as firefly houses.

Two framed illustrations of fireflies adorn the wooden wall. The rectangular frame features a firefly with glasses, while the oval frame captures a dancing one wearing Ray's berets. Nearby, a "For Rent" glass jar adds charm to this whimsical display.

There are framed portraits of various fireflies throughout.

A decorative mount of a goat with antlers is displayed on a stone wall, reminiscent of Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Disneyland. A lit lantern and a framed picture sit on a wooden mantel nearby, adding to the charming ambiance.

Hanging above the fireplace is a portrait of Ray carved into a slice of a log. Ray is depicted looking up at his love, the star Evangeline. This is a clear reference to The Briar Patch, which had carved portraits of Br’er Rabbit, Br’er Bear, and Br’er Fox… which were eventually replaced with generic animal art.

The jar on the mantel appears to be Ray’s home. It has a framed image of Evangeline hanging inside, next to a small bed, chair, table, and shelf. A small bucket acts as a light illuminating the jar. On the front of the cork is a door and sitting next to the jar is a tiny mailbox.

A framed cross-stitch with "Jar Sweet Jar" text sits elegantly on a wooden surface beside a lit lantern, evoking the charm of Tiana's Bayou Adventure. The scene is completed by the rustic backdrop of a stone wall.

A piece of embroidery also sitting on the mantle reads “Jar Sweet Jar.”

Another piece of log artwork above the window depicts Ray and his grandma.

Carved wooden plaque of a smiling alligator and a glowing firefly from Tiana's Bayou Adventure. The scene is set against a blue background with small yellow spots, under a hanging square lantern, reminiscent of the magical vibe in Disneyland.

Another piece depicts Ray laughing along with Louis the alligator.

Jars on a shelf in Disneyland Gift Shop showcase whimsical items like a lightbulb, a toy bear with a cupcake, and lemons labeled "lemonade," surrounded by decorative branches.

The jars are not only houses, but also businesses. Each has a unique set of tiny furniture and other props inside. One is preserving a cupcake with a candle. Another is a firefly lemonade stand. Some jars actually have “For Rent” signs.

A shelf in the Disneyland Gift Shop displays various glass jars filled with small items and plush hats, cleverly called Ray's Berets, resembling a cartoon character's face.

These jars appear to include an art studio, music room, and post office.

Wooden shelves with hanging greenery display upside-down mason jars, a glowing green bottle labeled "Buzzard's Cauldron," and black hats featuring logos from Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Much like the animal instruments on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the firefly furniture is made of found objects. One jar holds a paper boat.

A shelf showcasing an eclectic mix of items, including jars, a small model cafe reminiscent of Disneyland's charm, and baseball caps featuring Ray's Berets adorned with cartoon characters.

The fireflies have created their own version of New Orleans’ famous Cafe du Monde: Cafe du Ponde.

A shelf in the Disneyland Gift Shop showcases several glass jars filled with assorted small objects, all beautifully arranged against a tin-tile backsplash.

A telescope and star map are in one upright jar.

A glass jar filled with assorted small objects rests on a wooden shelf set against a log wall, alongside a small cup labeled "RENT," reminiscent of treasured finds from Ray's Berets.

The fireflies are ready for Halloween with this jar, which holds a tiny decrepit tree growing pumpkins over gravestones.

Glass jars with decorative figurines line wooden shelves, enveloped by moss and branches, reminiscent of Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Below, plush toys offer a whimsical touch, as if straight from a Disneyland Gift Shop.

The jars on the right side of this shelf include a playground and a classroom. There’s a slide and swingset made of twigs.

Various glass jars with small dioramas inside, reminiscent of Tiana's Bayou Adventure, are displayed on a wooden shelf, surrounded by decorative moss and stones.

The classroom has a chalkboard reading “Welcome Pupae.” A small jar holds an even smaller flower pot.

Three glass jars containing miniature dioramas of furniture and decor items are displayed on a wooden shelf, reminiscent of an enchanting scene from Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Moss and tree branches are visible in the background, adding a touch of whimsical charm.

These jars include a kitchen. But more notably next to them is what appears to be a tiny outhouse. Not just any outhouse, though — Shrek’s outhouse.

A wooden fairy house adorned with moss and crescent moon designs nestles on a shelf, reminiscent of Tiana's Bayou Adventure. It sits alongside large jars, creating a magical corner that transports you straight to Disneyland fantasies.

The outhouse is made of small pieces of wood and covered in bits of mouse. The Shrek reference is made obvious with the tiny crescent moon on the door.

A shelf features a heart-shaped tin labeled "Ray & Evangeline XOXO" alongside small containers of colorful items, bathed in the glow of a blue lamp. The scene evokes the magic of Disneyland, reminiscent of Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

A shelf above one door features several spools of thread. An embroidered design reads “Ray & Evangeline XOXO” in a heart.

Next to the cash wrap is a picture of Louis, Mama Odie, and Ray labeled “Best Pals.”

A framed picture reflecting outdoor scenery with bright lights, capturing the magic of Disneyland, and a hand subtly visible in the foreground on the glass surface.

Another framed picture appears to depict the Ray’s Berets building when the fireflies first moved in.

The clothing store display features Mickey Mouse hats and shirts, reminiscent of the Disneyland Gift Shop. Behind, windows reveal a blue-lit forest scene with hanging vines, evoking the enchanting atmosphere of Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

There are two fake windows looking out on the bayou at night. A pair of stars twinkle in the sky while glowing fireflies float around.

Sometimes, you’ll see groups of fireflies fly from one window to the next.

Ray will also appear and spell out his full name, Raymond, with his light.

A wooden sign featuring a turtle design and white text reads "CAST MEMBERS ONLY," reminiscent of Disneyland's charm, hangs on the wall.

The backstage door features a “Cast Members Only” sign with a firefly painted on it.

Ray's Berets adds a splash of vibrant color to the cozy gift shop interior, where shelves brim with plush toys and unique souvenirs. A stone fireplace and soft lighting enhance the warm atmosphere, inviting customers to explore treasures reminiscent of Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
