People walk on a sunny day outside a colorful theme park building with palm trees and cartoon posters.

The store, which also shared space with UNI VRS, closed last month. Universal later announced the “Wicked” makeover and paint work began soon after. There is a bit more green paint on the store, including around the main entrance.

The walls around the doors and righthand window are now all green. UNI VRS decals remain on and above the windows but concept art shows these will be replaced by “Wicked” artwork.

There is also some more green paint on the side nearest the Minion Land sign. These windows also still have UNI VRS decals. The entire building will eventually be green, like a building straight out of Emerald City.

With Wicked: The Experience, guests will “step into the fantastical Land of Oz,” traveling along the yellow brick road into a variety of locations from the film, including Shiz University and the Emerald City. Costumes and props created by the film’s designers will be displayed, alongside scenic design and theming to “recreate some of the most memorable moments of the film.”

Green paint lines the bottom of the building behind planters. Hello Kitty bows have been removed from the lamps on either side of this entrance.

A building facade with a green trim features a decorative heart emblem above an ornate circular window.

The sign resembling Hello Kitty’s face is also gone from above the doorway. The Hello Kitty statue and handprints remain.

For comparison, below is what the facades formerly looked like.

Universal Orlando Resort will also offer “Wicked” merchandise and themed menu items. “Wicked” experiences will also be available at other Universal theme parks.

The first part of the “Wicked” duology will be in theaters on November 22. Watch the trailer below.
