NEW Figment Straw Clip at Shanghai Disneyland, Likely Coming Soon to EPCOT

A new Figment straw clip has flown into Shanghai Disney Resort and is likely coming soon to Walt Disney World.

US Shopping SOS shared photos of the Figment straw clip on Instagram, stating it was released at Shanghai Disneyland on October 3. It features an adorable version of the purple and orange dragon, with a plastic lobster claw clip that attaches to a spiral straw. It looks like Figment’s wings might move.

The Figment straw clip is likely coming to EPCOT, too, considering Figment is an original EPCOT character. It could be released for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

Pricing for the straw clip was not shared, though straw clips at the domestic Disney Parks have previously ranged between $6.99 and $7.49.

Figment has been getting new merchandise at Walt Disney World, as well, specifically with the retro-style Figment head tote bag released last month.

Figment first came to life with the original version of Journey Into Imagination, which opened on March 5, 1983. On the ride, Figment and the Dreamfinder taught guests about the power of their imagination. The ride was updated in 1998-1999 and reopened as Journey Into Your Imagination with a new story, no Dreamfinder, and a simple cameo from Figment. This version closed in 2001 and made way for Journey Into Imagination with Figment in 2002. With that version, Figment returned as a main character.
