Star Wars Trading Post Now Closed at Disney Springs

Star Wars Trading Post, one of two “Star Wars” gift shops at Disney Springs, has closed — seemingly permanently.

Star Wars Trading Post Closed

A brick building with a blank sign and windows resembles a quaint Trading Post. A woman stands nearby as green shrubs line the pathway leading to the entrance, evoking an atmosphere reminiscent of Disney Springs.

Star Wars Trading Post was a store in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. It offered “off-planet” Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge merchandise.

A building with two entrances, brick and tile accents, and two people standing outside resembles a scene from the Trading Post at Disney Springs. Two trash bins are on the right under a clear blue sky.

All of the shop’s signage has been removed from the building. There’s no indication that the store will reopen or what else the space might be used for. The webpage for the store is still live but lists no operating hours for the foreseeable future.

A sign on the door of the Star Wars Trading Post at Disney Springs reads "Closed," guiding visitors to "Once Upon a Toy" for supplies. Reflections and people can be seen in the glass.

Signs in the windows inform guests that Star Wars Trading Post is “currently closed” and direct them to the nearby Once Upon a Toy for galactic supplies. Star Wars Galactic Outpost is also still open on the West Side of Disney Springs.

The build-your-own lightsaber experience remains inside Once Upon a Toy.

The story also now offers more “Star Wars” merchandise including action figures, helmets, plush, and lightsabers.
