Tropical Storm Milton Path Adjusted Southward, Still Poses Threat to Disney & Universal

In their latest update regarding Tropical Storm Milton, the National Hurricane Center reports that the trajectory of the path has moved slightly south.

Tropical Storm Milton has yet to progress into a Hurricane, but the National Hurricane Center projects it’s just a matter of time before that happens. The path of the storm has been slightly adjusted as it moves through the Gulf of Mexico. This doesn’t change the fact that Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort are in a State of Emergency, but on this trajectory, there could be less storm surge in Tampa over the coming days.

The National Hurricane Center warns that Storm Surge or Hurricane Watches could be issued later today or early Wednesday for the west coast of Florida.

While they expect it to form into a significant hurricane before making landfall, they also advise that the track and intensity are still unknown at this time.
