2024 Santa Claus Meet and Greet Opens With Virtual Queue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Santa Claus has arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and is now meeting guests at It’s A Wonderful Shop.

An outdoor dining area features a red-awned pizza restaurant and a menu stand. A person in a red and white outfit, reminiscent of Santa Claus, climbs a building nearby. There's also a red umbrella along the brick walkway, perfect for an impromptu meet and greet.

It’s A Wonderful Shop is the former year-round Christmas shop in Grand Avenue, next to PizzeRizzo. To meet Santa, guests should head to Grand Avenue and find this podium. Here, they can join the virtual queue by giving Cast Members their phone number.

Text message stating registration to visit Santa. Notification will be sent to return and queue. Reply STOP to stop messages. Msg and data rates may apply.

After joining, you will receive a text message confirming you have registered. You’ll receive a second message when it’s time to head back. We were in the virtual queue for about 20 minutes but your time will vary depending on how busy the park is.

After you get your second text, head to the shop. Here, a Cast Member will check you in and you’ll join the physical queue. A sign here indicated the wait would be 10 more minutes, which ended up being pretty accurate.

Inside, the shop has been transformed into Santa’s Workshop. There is an “S”-branded rug in front of Santa’s velvet and gold couch. Toys are stacked around him. A “Night Before Christmas” storybook is next to him.

According to My Disney Experience, Santa Claus meets from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (park close). Find up-to-date hours in My Disney Experience under “Visit with Santa at It’s a Wonderful Shop.”

During Disney Jollywood Nights, Santa Duffy meets here instead of Santa. Santa also has an all-new meet and greet in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, along with a Santa Claus meet and greet at Disney Springs.
