The transition from Halloween to Christmas continues at Magic Kingdom!
November 1st marked the beginning of the holiday season at Magic Kingdom! Overnight, the park went from the spookiest season to the jolliest. Wreaths, poinsettias, and Mickey and Minnie holiday topiaries showed up at the train station and Main Street, U.S.A. But the biggest and most magical decoration was yet to make its appearance — the Christmas tree!
The most wonderful time of the year has arrived at Disney World, and now the most exciting holiday decoration has, too. Magic Kingdom officially got its Christmas tree!

Each park and the hotels get decorated for the holidays and receive their annual Christmas trees. These trees are massive and beautiful! But the Magic Kingdom’s tree is one that we especially look forward to seeing every year.
Next week marks the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the year on November 8th, so Magic Kingdom is busy getting all its holiday decor up in time for the event. At the party, there will be exclusive entertainment, the ever-amazing snoap, lots of treats, and the best hot cocoa you’ll ever try.
Now we’re one step closer to being ready for the party! The Christmas tree marks a major milestone for the year at Magic Kingdom, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for the rest of the trees around Disney World.
You can still purchase tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios! These specially ticketed events come with lots of joy and cheer and a night of extra magic. You can purchase the tickets on the Disney World website for events happening on select days throughout November and December. But hurry, these events can sell out.
