Disney World Reveals Record-Breaking Lightning Lane Prices for November 28th

Picture this: the Thanksgiving holiday is here, your family has the day off, and you’re spending the day in Disney World. You’ve got a nice, hearty Thanksgiving meal lined up at Liberty Tree Tavern, and you plan to visit some of your favorite Magic Kingdom rides throughout the day. Sounds pretty nice, eh?

Well, here’s the part we left out: Thanksgiving is notoriously one of the BUSIEST days in Disney World. The parks get pretty crowded, and Disney’s skip-the-line services tend to reach a record-high price. This year is no exception — Disney just revealed the prices for Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, and Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Spoiler alert: those Thanksgiving day skip-the-line passes are EXPENSIVE!

If you plan to visit Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving day, be prepared for high wait times and big crowds. Disney raises and lowers the prices of its skip-the-line services based on the anticipated crowd level, so when we see record-high prices for November 28th, we know Disney is expecting a lot of people.

Here’s a look at the prices for Disney’s new luxury skip-the-line service, Lightning Lane Premier Pass, on November 28th, 2024. To sum this option up in a few words, it’s basically a top-dollar, simplified way to avoid the standby line at each ride. The prices on Thanksgiving day are record-breaking — this is the most we’ve seen Disney charge for a Premier Pass at each park.

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $199
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $349
  • EPCOT: $249
  • Magic Kingdom: $449

Keep in mind you cannot use your Premier Pass in multiple parks on the same day.

Disney is also reporting record-high prices for the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass on the same day. These services are much less expensive than the Premier Pass and offer access to the “express lane,” a.k.a. the Lightning Lane, at various rides in each park. The Multi Pass price in Magic Kingdom on November 28th is a whopping $35 per person. (For comparison, a Magic Kingdom Multi Pass is $27–$32 for most of November.)

Multi Pass Prices on November 28th:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $17
  • EPCOT: $21
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $27
  • Magic Kingdom: $35

Luckily, there are plenty of other things to see and do around Disney World when the crowds feel overwhelming. You can visit Disney’s Monorail Resorts to see the gingerbread displays. You can take a relaxing break at the Carousel of Progress. You can sit and recharge in the Storybook Circus seating area. You can even visit Disney Springs and check out the Tree Stroll!

There’s a charging station in Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom!

If you decide to brave the crowds, good luck! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
