Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is ready for the holidays. Decorations, including a giant Christmas tree, now adorn the resort lobby. They’ve also opened a kiosk of holiday sweets.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Christmas Decorations
When approaching the front entrance of Wilderness Lodge, you’ll immediately notice some Christmas decorations at the porte-cochere. A giant wreath hangs on one end, facing the arriving cars.
The wreath features red flowers and white ribbons. It’s decorated with pinecones, feathers, and arrows. A Native American-inspired sun design is in the center.
Garlands hang under the porte-cochere, leading to the front doors. These feature red poinsettias and berries, as well as yellow flowers. There are some shiny baubles.
A matching wreath hangs on a nearby wall. It’s full of pinecones and branches, including a barren branch sticking out of the center.
A wooden moose puppet is tucked into the wreath. The garlands and wreath all have string lights that illuminate them.
Inside, we came across a decoration with a carved wood moose head. it’s surrounded by white berries and red flowers.
The Christmas tree towers in the center of the lobby, nearly touching the ceiling. It has a yellow four-pointed star glowing on its top.
The string lights in the tree and other decorations are white. The tree features natural-style decorations, classic shiny ornaments, and Native American-inspired artworks.
The largest elements are glowing tipis, each featuring a different design and color scheme. There are also handmade canoes with toy animals inside them, star-shaped badges, beaded ornaments, and wolf artwork.
A PhotoPass photographer was available to take guest photos by the tree.
Garlands hang from the railings of each floor looking down on the lobby. These have flannel ribbons at their centers and matching flannel ornaments.
Above the entrance doors is a group of light-up reindeer and trees.
A wreath hanging above the fireplace features a reindeer figure. It’s also decorated with a miniature canoe and paddles.
The Wilderness Lodge lobby features a small bridge over a water feature. The bridge’s railings are adorned with light-up garland. Matching wreaths hang in the windows behind the water feature.
There are some small trees in the corners of the lobby. Their decorations include teddy bears wearing southwestern-patterned scarves. There is wood-burned art, cardinal figures, and fake berries.
This garland is wrapped with burlap ribbon and beads.
The nearby tree features another teddy bear, a fox figure, and white flowers.
Wilderness Lodge Mercantile, the gift shop, is also decorated. Garlands line the ceiling.
A wreath hangs at the top of a stone chimney. The bow is made of red flannel strips of beige ribbon patterned with deer. A mini canoe and oars are at the bottom of the wreath.
Matching garlands and decorations are around the merchandise displays. Another wreath features a small sleigh.
There’s a tiny Christmas tree next to one of the doors. Instead of ornaments, it’s just decorated with red poinsettias and berries.
Wilderness Lodge doesn’t have a gingerbread display this year, but it does have a snack kiosk offering some of the same treats as other gingerbread locations. Stanchions wrapped in garlands and Christmas lights are set up in front of the kiosk.
In addition to snacks, the kiosk sells select holiday merchandise.
The tables are set up around a group of trees, like a Christmas tree farm. The tables feature holiday paneling. A small red sleigh piled with presents is on one side.
Flats of Mickey & Friends sit on some of the counters at the back of the kiosk. Mickey and Minnie are pictured enjoying hot cocoa and sledding down a hill.
Goffy is standing among presents on a green holiday table.
