Early Start Date Revealed for ‘Frozen Holiday Surprise’ at Magic Kingdom

“Frozen Holiday Surprise” at Magic Kingdom is starting performances surprisingly early this year.

‘Frozen Holiday Surprise’ Start Date

A Frozen Holiday Surprise unfolds as three costumed characters and a snowman delight the audience in front of a beautifully decorated castle, with a large "Happy Holidays" banner adding to the enchanting scene.

According to the “Frozen Holiday Surprise” webpage and My Disney Experience, the castle stage show’s first performance of the season will be at 6:15 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, November 5). It will continue to be performed at 6:15 p.m. daily through Sunday, December 29. Additional 8:15 p.m. performances are scheduled during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

The first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom will be on Friday, November 8. Despite that, Holidays at Walt Disney World supposedly don’t begin until November 12.

“Frozen Holiday Surprise” debuted last year. The seven-minute show features Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff. They sing portions of “Ring in the Season” and “That Time of Year” from “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” as Cinderella Castle is transformed with projections. Watch our video of the show below.

For a few years, Elsa illuminated the icicle-inspired Dream Lights of Cinderella Castle with a performance of “Let it Go” each evening. The Dream Lights were retired after 2019.
