PHOTO REPORT: World of Disney, DVC Halloween Meet & Treat, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Buc-ee’s

Hello Yellow! This is Nana, I hope you guys are having a fantasmic week so far! Guess what! It’s Halloween! Can you believe it? I’ve been doing Halloween since August, so I’m ready for Christmas. Even Buc-ee’s was prepared for Christmas. I went there last Saturday and Sunday…

An inflatable beaver wearing a Santa hat and red shirt with a logo stands cheerfully near the shopping carts at the store entrance, adding a playful touch reminiscent of Disney's whimsical flair during Halloween at Hollywood Studios.

I’ll share more holiday Buc-ee’s merchandise at the end… I know our readers love Buc-ee’s too. (to be honest, who doesn’t?)

So, I started off at World of Disney where more Christmas merchandise dropped. Ahh! Christmas.

World of Disney Holiday Merchandise

I’m sure you guys saw the main post about holiday merchandise. So I’ll just pick some holiday merchandise I like… If you haven’t checked, please check them out and send them to your partner, spouse, or parents so they can get you a Christmas gift!

Purchase-with-Purchase Chip ‘n’ Dale Tote – $24.99

A Disney World tote bag featuring holiday-themed chipmunk characters and candy cane stripes, displayed on a store shelf.

I love Chip and Dale… They don’t get much spotlight all the time but they did this year! This is a good size bag for the beach (yes, we go to the beach in winter because it’s Florida), as a diaper bag, or anything!

Santa Stitch Purse – $34.99

Plush toy with large blue eyes and big ears wearing a red and white Santa hat, displayed on a store rack.

There is no way I can resist this… But also I don’t know where to bring him… The selling point is that you can take off his Santa hat so you can use it in the summer too. I need reasons to buy him… Because I am a proud Disney adult who know how to do Disney math. (Not the actual math, I am Japanese but not good at math. )

Cookie Jar – $59.99

Person holding a Mickey Mouse-themed train ornament in a store, with shelves displaying more ornaments in the background.

I collect Cookie Jars and popcorn buckets. I still remember my mom bought a Dalmatian cookie jar when we went to Disneyland… and she brought it back to Japan. So the cookie jar collection is in our blood for sure. This cookie jar is so pretty, but seasonal… I’m having a hard time not buying it. But the reality is I do not have a space for him to decorate… Because I bought a Star Wars Weekend Chip and Dale figure/case for $70 from Lakeland Antique Mall…. It is not in perfect condition, but I loved Star Wars Weekend and have special memories.

A hand holds a charming Disney figurine of two animated chipmunks with spears, perched on a base. Perfect for any fan of Hollywood Studios or those celebrating Halloween with a touch of whimsy.

I have more to write, so this is it from World of Disney Holiday Merchandise. If you want to read more about the holiday merchandise, you can read them here.

Next, I drove to Disney’s BoardWalk…

DVC Halloween Meet & Treat

I do not know how many times I’ve come to BoardWalk this month… But today, I am here for the DVC Halloween Meet & Treat!

Three images: Donald Duck in a Disney space-themed costume, a person hugging a bear in a pumpkin hat, and two people dressed as Halloween characters. This vibrant collection captures the festive spirit you'd find in Hollywood Studios during Halloween season.

This year, they had astronaut Donald (from Hollywood and Vine back in 2018), Pumpkin Duffy (from EPCOT back in 2012), Jack, and Sally. I waited for like maybe 15 minutes for Duffy which never happened in Tokyo DisneySea. I met Duffy at the Wine and Dine marathon after party and Christmas season last year. I am looking forward to meeting him this year’s Wine and Dine marathon afterparty and Christmas season at Hollywood Studios again!

Time to go work at Hollywood Studios.

Heller from Hollywood Studios

Under a sunny sky dotted with scattered clouds, visitors stroll through the theme park plaza, the gateway to Disney's Hollywood Studios. They are surrounded by vibrant buildings and swaying palm trees, capturing the enchanting charm of World of Disney.

Where’s Waldo? Can you find him?

The French map has made it back to the map stand…

A vibrant display of colorful brochures for Hollywood Studios attractions, neatly arranged in rows on a teal rack. An accessibility symbol is featured on the bottom row, hinting at inclusive adventures awaiting visitors even during Halloween festivities.

I am happy for the French people. We (Japanese) got cut off with French and German back in June. They were counting how many maps were distributed from June. I guess French was one of the popular ones. I even tweeted in Japanese to Japanese followers to get their maps so Disney can count and it will go back to the map stand. I guess my tweets did not go out enough to make a difference. This is my concern right, most of us (Japanese) won’t speak English, like 0 English but love Disney. How can they go ask GR about the map? I write some “example English” in my tweets so they can just show it to cast members… but I am not Tom, people don’t know me.

Side note, their Japanese translation is so off but I enjoy reading them. Tokyo Disney Resort is no longer giving out paper maps since COVID, so the Japanese love to bring back some when they come here.

When you see red and white candy in the Christmas section, what flavor do you think?

A hand holds a large cherry lollipop with a Disney cartoon character on the front, set against a wooden background.

Peppermints, right??

CHERRY!!! WHY?!?!? WHY?!?! To me, it’s a crime. I love peppermint and Christmas is the peppermint season… but Disney chose cherry over peppermint.

No Holiday decorations in Echo Lake yet. From November 1st, I will run 4 parks/day and some resorts to get holiday decorations. I hope our lord Figment will be with me.

Amidst the palm trees and greenery under a partly cloudy sky, a dinosaur-shaped structure stands proudly by a small lake. This scene could easily be part of Disney's Hollywood Studios, where fantastical worlds come to life in vivid detail.

By the Muppets, Stage 1 got some Christmas lights for Jollywood!

They must be ready soon since they are doing a Cast Member preview.

They were also doing something at the building across the street from Muppet*Vision.

People walk along a vibrant pedestrian street lined with multistory buildings and trees, beneath a partly cloudy sky that feels straight out of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

You can see the windows are open… Maybe adding some lights or projections?

A multi-story building with ornate architectural details and several open windows, surrounded by greenery, evokes the enchanting charm of a Disney set at Hollywood Studios, perhaps ready to come alive with Halloween magic.
A person in a red jacket stands in an alcove in a themed outdoor area at Hollywood Studios, with people walking and sitting around, enjoying the lively Halloween atmosphere.

Rise of the Resistance is still doing single-rider!

Vi was hiding from the first order… Can you find her?

No new droid parts still; we are so behind. Hoping to get them soon!

Outdoor seating area with people sitting under green umbrellas, reminiscent of a Hollywood Studios set, near a rocky wall and lush greenery.

Woody’s Lunch Box temporary seating area got their high chairs back!

People lined up at a market kiosk outdoors, set against a charming brick structure with a "Market" sign above, reminiscent of the magical atmosphere you'd find in Disney's Hollywood Studios during Halloween.

Walked through busy Toy Story Land and found this at Market.

PUMPKIN SPICE FLAVORED POPCORN! I am too scared to try… but maybe one day, I will review it.

A sign at Disney's Hollywood Studios advertises the Halloween Pumpkin Spice Popcorn Mix for $9.00, with enticing packages of popcorn showcased in the background. Embrace the magic of a DVC Halloween as you indulge in this festive treat!
Entrance to the "Voyage of the Little Mermaid" attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios features a large mural of Ariel on the facade, while palm trees sway nearby under a cloudy sky, adding an enchanting touch even as Halloween approaches.

At Voyage of the Little Mermaid, the backdrop is getting worse and worse… it’s bad show, no? I know they submitted a permit so why don’t they take them away at this point?

The exterior of a closed store with frosted glass panels features a red sign reading "The Studio Store." A poster above advertises "Dance Moms," reminiscent of the captivating productions at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The sky is partly cloudy, adding to the scene's allure.

At the old Studio Store, they put some stickers over the windows and doors so we can’t peep into them. But it seems like they are using as storage for now… This used to be the store where they sold Duffy’s costume. I miss those old days.

A store display featuring Halloween-themed clothing, bags, and footwear. Price tags are visible as a person reaches toward a shelf on the left, capturing a moment of whimsy reminiscent of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Did you pick your outfit for Halloween? Well, Disney’s got you!

You can wear Crocs and a backpack and be good to go! Not cheap, but they’ll still be useful after Halloween.

View from under a transparent umbrella with floral designs and raindrops, overlooking a park where people stroll amidst the lush greenery, reminiscent of a Disney scene.

This is so Florida. The rain started but nobody is using an umbrella.

Theme park area with palm trees, geometric pavement, and an automotive-themed building, creating a vibe reminiscent of Hollywood Studios. A cloudy sky in the background adds a touch of mystery, perfect for Halloween festivities.

There was nothing new at Tower Gift Shop nor Rock around the shop. No change to Racing Academy.

A hand holds a cold drink in a festive cup with a spooktacular Disney Halloween design, outside on a sunny street.

I had to go to the office after this to drop off the Dinosaur plush from DinoLand, so I got myself a Starbie!

Yes, this was the mission I was talking about in the last Nana’s Disney Princess Diary.

Okay! This was my day! It was a decently long day… but I enjoyed walking and running under the sun.

Here is Buc-ee’s Christmas merchandise that I promised in the beginning.

A captivating collage of diverse items in the store, each echoing the enchanting spirit of Disney and the thrill of Hollywood Studios. Every corner brims with Halloween magic, inviting you to discover a world where fantasy meets reality.
A Christmas-themed clothing display in a store features pajama sets, elf hats with pom-poms, and pet outfits in festive red and green. It captures the magic of Disney excitement, adding a touch of holiday enchantment to every ensemble.

I HAVE NOT BOUGHT ANYTHING YET… But highly consider buying the green crewneck…

Well, I hope you enjoyed Nana’s Disney Princess Diary! Happy Halloween to everybody and will see you real soon!
