Universal Volcano Bay to Remain Closed One More Day Due to Cold Weather

Central Florida is experiencing low temperatures this week and, as a result, Universal Volcano Bay will remain closed for another day.

The water park was already closed on Thursday, November 21, and Friday, November 22nd. Universal Orlando Resort announced it would remain closed through Saturday, November 23.

Volcano Bay is scheduled to reopen on Sunday, November 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. although, this could change depending on the forecast.

According to Weather.com, the high temperature in Orlando on Saturday is expected to be 67°F, with a low of 46°F. Sunday is forecasted to be warmer, with temperatures between 74°F and 53°F.

Universal Volcano Bay will likely close a few more times this winter — a relatively standard procedure for water parks when there is inclement weather.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park closed on Thursday and Friday, and will likely remain closed through Saturday, too.
