In a new article on the official Disney Parks Blog, new concept art was revealed for a princess unit in the nighttime parade. The art reveals a new float themed to Disney animated royalty. Royal couples Aurora and Philip, Tiana and Naveen, Cinderella and Prince Charming, as well as Belle and the Beast dance together on a new shimmering float with a fountain in the center.

The blog also revealed the new parade will take inspiration from early Walt Disney Studios animated features. Specifically, the new princess unit is being designed as a tribute to Mary Blair’s original concept artwork for the film “Cinderella.”
