Going to the movies has gotten pretty expensive, we won’t lie, but we still find ourselves going every now and then. We had to go and see Moana 2 in theaters — it really adds to the experience, right?

Yes, you can bring ANYTHING. As long as it can hold popcorn, you can bring it. It doesn’t matter how big your bucket or vessel is, they’ll take it — it could be a sand pail, a Tupperware container, a tote…it could be anything, and it’ll be filled for $5! The only requirement is that it just can’t be larger than 400oz (equivalent to 2 XL popcorns).

Additionally, all gift card purchases are 10% off (online only), and if you follow the theater on X or Instagram, you’ll get a chance to win a free large popcorn. If you plan to participate in this fun event, be sure to tag us on Instagram @disneyfoodblog and let us see how creative you got with your container! Personally, you’ll find us pulling up to the theater with our trusty Mickey Balloon popcorn bucket. It’s a classic!

We don’t know about you, but we’ll take any excuse we can to get some cheap popcorn. Especially if we can bring our Disney popcorn buckets!
