Rope Drop at EPCOT
Rope dropping is being at the park before it opens and being one of the first guests in the park. You can take advantage of lower wait times for some of the most popular rides and knock things off your to-do list before more people get into the park.
However, one of the biggest negatives of rope-dropping is that it requires you to get up EARLY. Park hours vary, but you can expect the Disney World parks to open somewhere around 8 AM- 10 AM, with Early Entry beginning 30 minutes before the park opens to all guests.
Early Entry
Early Entry is available for guests who are staying at Disney World hotels or other select hotels. Whether you are getting up for Early Entry or just rope-dropping the park, you will likely find yourself setting a pretty early alarm.
