Closing Date for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit

According to the official website for Universal Orlando Resort, the coaster will permanently close on August 18, 2025 “to make way for a new experience. More details will be available at a later date.” Details for the “new experience” have not yet been shared, but rumors indicate it will be a new multi-launch roller coaster from Intamin.

Universal confirmed the roller coaster’s closure late last year, following long-running rumors that the end for this attraction was imminent. It was previously stated that the closure would be in early September 2025.
