The Main Street Opera House at Disneyland Park has a new marquee advertising “Walt Disney – A Magical Life,” the new Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic show premiering in a few weeks.

Disney Parks and Walt Disney Imagineering shared this photo on Instagram highlighting the marquee. It’s blue and states the Opera House is “Now Featuring Two Dramatic Theater Presentations!”
On the left side is the name of “Walt Disney – A Magical Life,” while the right side lists “Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln.” For reference, below is the old red marquee.
“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will premiere on July 17, the 70th anniversary date of Disneyland Park. Although the marquee does not make this clear, it is set to perform solo for the duration of the 70th anniversary celebration (through the summer of 2026). It will then rotate performances with “Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln.”
“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will open with a viewing of the 15-minute documentary “Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream,” before revealing the Walt animatronic, which will talk to guests for two minutes from an office set with help from historical recordings.
Although some of Walt Disney’s grandchildren have expressed support for the Audio-Animatronic, his granddaughter Joanna Miller has been outspoken against the show.
