Oogie Boogie Bash has officially begun at Disney California Adventure! This after-hours event is a full night of Halloween fun with special snacks and all of your favorite villains.

We’re here celebrating the first night of this festive party and can’t wait to share it all with you! In addition to all the exciting trick-or-treating, snacks, and merchandise, there’s also a whole lot of entertainment. Between characters, parades, fireworks, and more, there’s a whole lot to check out — so let’s get started!

Let’s check out all the entertainment you’ll find at Oogie Boogie Bash 2025!

Interactive Treat Trails

Throughout Disney California Adventure, there are Immersive Treat Trails to find Cast Members handing out Treat Bags — and, more importantly — CANDY to the party guests!

Simply look for the Treat Trail entrance markers around the park. The treat trails are also designated in the Bash Guide Map with a black cauldron, and you can find them in the Disneyland app.

Keep your eyes peeled for your favorite villains while you’re trick-or-treating!

New this year was Syndrome from The Incredibles.

Frightfully Fun Parade

At Oogie Boogie Bash, guests can catch the Frightfully Fun Parade! The Parade can be seen two times per night, typically at 7:50PM and 10:05PM.

This parade is PACKED with rarely seen Disney characters, including — but by no means limited to — the Headless Horseman, Lady Tremaine, The Ugly Stepsisters, The Red Queen, Captain Hook, Judge Frollo, Jafar, Ursula, and SO many more!

It’s a fun way to see a bunch of characters without having to wait in line for them.

We never miss it every year!

Villains Grove

Villains Grove can be found along the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in the Grizzly Peak area of Disney California Adventure Park.

Check out Dr. Facilier’s Friends on the Other Side! “Summoned by the great beyond, shadowy hands, and colorful spells lure guests deeper into the grove’s darkest corners.”

During Oogie Boogie Bash, the forest is transformed with themed decorations, lights, and sounds to fit each villain’s story as you travel through the spooky woods!

Oogie Boogie Bash Photo Ops

Disney PhotoPass is included with an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket, so you can take all kinds of scary photos during the party, then download the images on the Disneyland app! There are some special spots where you can take pictures at the event, and exclusive MagicShots. Photo ops are listed in the Bash Guide Map and the Disneyland app.

Don’t forget that you also get access to park attractions in a limited capacity environment. Guests can also visit California Adventure lands like Avengers Campus, Cars Land, and Pixar Pier. In Cars Land, the Cars put on a Halloween transformation with Halloween “Car-stumes,” ride overlays, and special Halloween treats.

Oogie Boogie Bash is taking place on select nights from August 17th to October 31st in 2025. Tickets are on sale now — prices start at $139 per person and go up to $199 per person, depending on the date you choose to visit.

A major draw for this event is the immersive Treat Trails. Each of these pathways includes spots where you and your group can go trick-or-treating, but they’re also home to Disney Villains! As you walk by and snag your candy, you can snap photos and interact with some very cool and incredibly rare characters.

We’ll be bringing you even more coverage of Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney’s California Adventure! In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more.
