In the opening scene, people ride a train through a glowing cave on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom.

The scene features hundreds of bats in the Rainbow Caverns with phosphorescent pools, shimmering stalagmites, and stalactites. First, it’s a beautiful scene.

People ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad through a glowing, fiery cave with red-eyed bats and molten lava.

But then thunder rumbles and it changes to something menacing. Disney shared concept art of the before and after.

More “new magic” for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be announced later.
