Disney has shared a first look at the new ride vehicles for the overhaul of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom.

New Ride Vehicles for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Disney announced earlier this year that Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin would get a major overhaul to add scene updates, techincal improvements, and more — including new ride vehicles, which were revealed today during a media event.

The new vehicles have a Star Command-inspired look, and will feature video monitors with real-time scores and “other exciting features.” The previous ride vehicles were originally from 1972, having been carried over from Delta Dreamflight.

Check out our last look at the attraction prior to its temporary closure.
