It’s a huge week for DFB and our founder, AJ Wolfe! That’s because AJ’s first book, Disney Adults: Exploring (And Falling In Love With) A Magical Subculture is releasing on August 5th — and that’s SOON.

Now, you have a chance to meet AJ in person if you happen to be in the Orlando area on August 4th (you can get details here), but you can also celebrate the book’s release by visiting Disney World and checking out the exclusive treats in the Disney Adults Crawl at select restaurants in Disney Springs and EPCOT. However, ahead of the book’s release, we’ve got BIG news: Disney Adults has made Amazon’s list of Best Books of the Month!

That’s right! We were perusing Amazon (as one does) and discovered that the “Editors’ Picks: Best Nonfiction books of August” includes Disney Adults! How exciting is that?!?!?!

So, what is Disney Adults about, you may ask? Well, it’s a “deep dive” into the Disney Adult community and culture, exploring the lives and experiences of a fascinating community to better understand its devotees’ unwavering passion for all things Disney, why it offends, and why it matters. If you haven’t grabbed a copy yet, you can pre-order it now!

We would like to thank everyone who has already pre-ordered a copy, as well as those of you who have supported us throughout the years — here’s to many more.
