It’s no fun to get to Disneyland and realize your favorite ride is closed, but it happens. Now, we can’t do much to control ride closures that happen ON THE DAY, whether that’s due to weather or some kind of issue with the ride, but we can give you a heads up on scheduled ride closures, so that’s what we’re going to do.
Indiana Jones Adventure
So if you’re headed to Disneyland in early December, you’ll want to know about this popular ride closure: Indiana Jones Adventure will be closed on December 2nd and 3rd for refurbishment (probably just routine ride maintenance).
According to Disneyland’s calendar, the ride will be closed on those two days, but will reopen on December 4th. So if you’re visiting during that time, keep in mind that you won’t be able to ride on those two specific days, and plan accordingly.

These kinds of short ride closures are common when a ride needs maintenance, so it’s nothing to be worried about. You’ll be able to go on an adventure with Indiana Jones inside the Temple of the Forbidden Eye again. In the meantime, if you’re still feeling adventurous, you can always go on the funniest river cruise ever on Jungle Cruise or sail the high seas with pirates on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Once the ride does reopen, you can probably expect long lines for it. In my personal experience, this is a good ride to rope drop to skip the lines, although the single rider line also has much shorter wait times. Otherwise, you might want to consider purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass to set a time to ride it with a shorter wait.
We’ll keep you updated on other ride closures, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
