BREAKING: Walt Disney World Snack Carts Are Going Cashless

As of today, select Walt Disney World Resort snack carts are now cashless.

A classic red popcorn cart with a yellow wheel sits under a pavilion in a Disney park, near a red umbrella and trees on a sunny day.
Sign at Disney park states: "Cashless location. Please use credit card, Disney gift card, or mobile payment only.

One such location is this popcorn cart in the Cinderella Castle hub at Magic Kingdom. These locations have new signage designating them as cashless.

Disney Gift Cards are Available to Purchase at your Nearest Walt Disney World Merchandise Store

Select merchandise carts have been cashless for years now but this is the first time food and beverage locations have gone completely cashless.

The change comes with a wave of price increases across Walt Disney World, including on snacks like popcorn and Mickey pretzels.
