Hey everybody! Just in time for the release of the second film in the Wicked series, Universal Orlando has revamped the Wicked Experience with new offerings related to Wicked: For Good, as well as debuted new dishes inspired by the film in the park! We recently visited Universal Studios Florida to check it all out.
Wicked Experience Updates
Over at the Wicked Experience, the entrance has now been updated to reflect the poster art for Wicked: For Good, with Glinda and Elphaba wearing the outfits seen in the second film. Posters featuring the two witches are also on display outside the entrance.
Inside, you can find the usual offerings that were available to celebrate the first film, with a few new additions. Namely, four new costumes from the new film on display in glass cases. These include Fiyero’s Wedding Suit (check out that wheat-esque embroidery, interesting), Madame Morrible’s robes (that look suspiciously like they’re covered in lightning), and a duster robe worn by The Wizard during the song “Wonderful.” These costumes replace those previously on display in this area: the Ozdust costumes worn by Glinda, Elphaba, and Fiyero that were seen in the first film.
Elsewhere, another new costume is on display behind glass, Elphaba’s nightwear from the sequel. It replaces Elphaba’s dressing gown from the first film.
If you’re a pressed penny collector, you can also find a kiosk that offers special Wicked-themed pennies in this location.
There is also new Wicked: For Good merchandise available for purchase, as well.
The photo ops inside remain unchanged, which include a look in Glinda and Elphaba’s dorm room at Shiz University, Glinda’s bubble, Elphaba’s broom, and the Wizard’s control panel. If you didn’t get a chance to take photos here before now, you still can!
Ozzitively Delicious New Snacks
Several new dishes and treats are also available now at Universal Studios Florida to celebrate Wicked: For Good!
Starting off at Emerald City Eats, the cart located just outside the Wicked Experience, you can find the following:
- All Roads Lead To Oz Flatbread (house-made focaccia with yellow cheese sauce, cheddar sauce, roasted yellow peppers, pepperoni and jalapeño) – $8.99
- Emerald City Focaccia (house-made focaccia sandwich with basil pesto, sliced mortadella, eggs and sage derby cheese) – $9.99
- Strawberriful Cheesecake Waffle (whipped cream cheese, strawberries in sauce, graham crumble and popping white chocolate) – $8.99
There are also two beverages, the Popular Potion (Three Olives Rosé Vodka, DeKuyper Triple Sec, dragonfruit syrup and pink lemonade, garnished with a pink sugar rim and pink lemonade sour candy belts) and the Enchanting Elixir (Tesoro Tradicional Blanco Tequila, Bols Melon Liqueur, Granny Smith apple syrup and lemonade, garnished with a green sugar rim and a lime wheel). Both are $17.
If you’re needing to satisfy your sweet tooth Oz-style, you can head over to Schwab’s Pharmacy to try two new shakes themed to the new movie. These are the Wizard Elixir Shake (mint chocolate chip ice cream, chocolate pop rocks, Emerald City sprinkles, sweetened condensed milk, and whipped topping) and The Yellow Road Shake (dulce de leche ice cream with golden chocolate crisps, broken Yellow Brick Road chocolate pieces and caramel). Like the two beverages at Emerald City Eats, these are both priced the same at $12.99.
Though we didn’t try it during our visit, there’s also a Wicked: For Good Sundae at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen in CityWalk. It’s priced at $18 and includes strawberry and mint chip ice cream, Oreo pieces and pink chocolate crisps, chocolate pop rocks and ganache, a chocolate butterfly, and topped with a strawberry and mint chip ice cream sandwich.
