As we reported earlier this evening, a body was removed from Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World. According to an update from News 6 WKMG, “The sheriff’s office later told News 6 that the incident is an apparent suicide.”

Disney's Contemporary Resort, sleek and modern, rises behind trees, parked cars, and a crane beneath a clear blue sky.

Reports of multiple sheriff units at the Contemporary Resort and crime scene tape had been set up at the service entrance.

According to News 6 the call data shows the sheriff’s office received the report about the dead body around 6:40 p.m. along North World Drive, which begins just south of US-192 and runs past Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Contemporary Resort and Wilderness Lodge.

The sheriff’s office later told News 6 that the incident is an apparent suicide.

A table row lists a call for a dead body on 10/14/2025, 6:40 PM, at Disney's Contemporary Resort, sector S6, zone 601.
