Hey everybody! The holiday season continues at Walt Disney World with yet another festive event, Disney Jollywood Nights!
Watch our vlog above for our entire experience, and keep reading to learn more about the annual event!
What is Disney Jollywood Nights?
Disney Jollywood Nights is a separately-ticketed, after-hours event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that celebrates the holiday season in November and December. Started in 2023, this event offers specialty food and drinks, exclusive entertainment, and shorter wait times for attractions.
When is Disney Jollywood Nights?
Disney Jollywood Nights takes place on the following dates:
- November 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, and 29
- December 1, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, and 22
This year, “mix-in” — where party guests can enter the park ahead of the event’s start time — begins a half-hour earlier at 5:30 p.m. The party officially begins at 7:30 p.m., and runs until 12:30 a.m.
Tracker Tip: If you’re staying at a Disney Skyliner-connected resort, keep in mind that the Skyliner stops running by the time the event ends, so you’ll have to take a bus or find other means of transportation to your Disney resort hotel if you stay until 12:30 a.m.
How Much Are Tickets?
Tickets to the event range from $159 to $199, with a $10 discount available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.
At the time of publishing, only the first two parties of the season have sold out, which were November 8 and 15. All other dates still have tickets available.
Your ticket also includes a complementary photo frame ornament themed to Jollywood Nights, which you receive on your way out of the party.
Tracker Tip: Our tickets to Disney Jollywood Nights were provided by Unlocked Magic. Use our link here and you can save 10% on tickets to Jollywood or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
What Kind of Entertainment is Available?
The main highlight for Jollywood Nights is its vast lineup of event-exclusive entertainment. From throwback-inspired stage shows to live music, fireworks, and even a giant Jack Skellington puppet, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Offerings at this year’s event include:
Disney Holidays in Hollywood
This musical stage show is performed at the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard. Hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, it harkens back to the heyday of Hollywood holiday TV specials. Other Disney character appearances include Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.
The show is performed several times during the evening, at 8:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 11 p.m., and 12 a.m.
Tracker Tip: This stage show is very popular with guests, so if there are other offerings you want to experience at Jollywood, you can try catching a later performance of this show.
What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along
This unique show blends the spooky with the festive in true Tim Burton style. Performed at the Hyperion Theater in Echo Lake, this show tells the story of Halloween Town and Christmas Town from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas with a giant Jack Skellington puppet and live performers as “snowflakes” fall from above.
The show is performed at the following times: 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 11:30 p.m., and 12:30 a.m.
Twilight Soiree at the Tip Top Club
At The Hollywood Tower Hotel courtyard, you can step into the 1930s with a jazzy outdoor lounge complete with a live holiday band. You can catch the band at 7:30 p.m., 8:10 p.m., 8:50 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:10 p.m., and 11:50 p.m.
Tracker Tip: Keep your eyes peeled for phantom party attendees at The Hollywood Tower Hotel… ghosts like jazz, too!
Pixar Disco
Pixar Disco is a fun character dance party in Pixar Plaza, just outside of Toy Story Land, featuring favorite Pixar characters like Edna Mode, Frozone, Joy, and more. You can dance it out from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., and again from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
“Glisten!”
“Glisten!” is a unique show for Jollywood Nights, in which skaters glide, twirl, and leap across synthetic “ice” in front of the Chinese Theater to classic and original holiday songs.
“Glisten!” performs five times nightly during the event, at 8:10 p.m., 9:10 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:10 p.m., and 12 a.m.
Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby
The adults in your party can enjoy fancy holiday fun with Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby. This limited capacity experience offers culinary stylings paired with live holiday music in an elegant atmosphere.
Tracker Tip: If you’re interested in this experience, we highly recommend securing reservations if you can. Walk-up availability the day of the event is not always guaranteed.
Holiday Fiesta en la Calle
New for this year, Holiday Fiesta en la Calle has been relocated to the Coaster Courtyard on Sunset Boulevard. It’s still a Latin-inspired holiday street fair, complete with live musicians, food and drinks, and character appearances.
Sunset Seasons Greetings
This nighttime projection display takes over the facade of The Hollywood Tower Hotel once again for the holiday season. Projections include short sequences inspired by Toy Story, The Swedish Chef from The Muppets, Mickey and Minnie in a Charles Dickens-style Christmas town, Olaf from Frozen, and Prep & Landing.
During Jollywood Nights, Sunset Seasons Greetings takes place at 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9:45 p.m., 10:45 p.m., and 11:30 p.m.
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Fireworks Spectacular
This holiday fireworks spectacular returns to Disney Jollywood Nights to light up the Chinese Theater and the skies above with fireworks, lasers, projections, and festive tunes. It stars Wayne and Lanny from the Prep & Landing short, as they set out on a mission to rescue Santa Claus, with scenes from classic films like Beauty and the Beast, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. It also includes “snowfall” on Hollywood Boulevard and synced MagicBand+ effects.
The fireworks are performed just once during Jollywood Nights, at 10 p.m.
Tracker Tip: If you can’t make it to Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the day, the two newest stage shows, The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, also perform throughout the night at Jollywood. Fantasmic! is also performed at 6:30 p.m. on event nights (though this is subject to change).

What About Special Food and Drinks?
This year, we focused less on the stage shows and more on the specialty food and drinks, of which there are many, many new options to try!
The first treat we had was the Kermit Mint Whirl from Hollywood Scoops on Sunset Boulevard. It’s made with green apple boba pearls and white chocolate cheesecake, topped with mint chocolate chip ice cream and green M&M’s and served in a souvenir cup.
This is so many weird flavors put together in one treat. The mint chocolate chip ice cream is great, and the cheesecake adds a nice vanilla flavor to it. Unfortunately, the green apple boba ruins the entire treat for us.
A new food location for this year’s event is Backlot Express, which has an entire menu of new dishes for Jollywood. We got every single food item available:
- Hickory Holiday Mac: Macaroni & cheese with burnt ends, crispy onions, and chili pepper sauce (NEW)
- Jolly Jam Slider: Angus burger with bourbon-garlic bacon jam, smoky paprika aïoli, and chili pepper sauce served on a Hawaiian roll
- Sleigh Bell Brussels Sprouts with bourbon-onion jam and crispy onions (Plant-based) (NEW)
- Sweet Chili Cheer Chicken Slider: Chicken thighs tossed in sweet chili aïoli topped with Asian slaw and cilantro served on a brioche roll (NEW)
- Holly Jolly Bread Pudding: Warm bread pudding swirled with chocolate-hazelnut spread and topped with cherries, holiday sprinkles, and a chocolate gingerbread man. (NEW)
The Hickory Holiday Mac is pretty good. Mac and cheese and barbecue just goes together — like Tim and Jenn! It has a nice kick we really enjoy.
The Jolly Jam Slider has a great bourbon-garlic bacon jam, but we didn’t get much spice from the smoky paprika aïoli. Ours was a little well-done, but it still had a great flavor to it and we’d definitely order it again.
The Sleigh Bell Brussels Sprouts are very good; crunchy on the outside thanks to the crispy onions, but the inside is tender. The sauce is a little smoky and sweet. We’d also order them again!
The Sweet Chili Cheer Chicken Slider is served with a great piece of chicken. It’s super tender, and has a lot of flavor to it. It’s a little bread-heavy, but very good.
Lastly, the Holly Jolly Bread pudding comes with a tiny chocolate gingerbread man that looks a little like a Flintstones vitamin. The actual bread pudding is nice and sweet, thanks to the chocolate-hazelnut spread, but it’s not as sweet as you’d expect. The cherries on top are dehydrated, which is an interesting choice. The flavor is very yeasty, so it might not be the move if you’re not a fan of that flavor.
The next spot we visited for food was KRNR The Rock Station on Sunset Boulevard for the Arepas de Choclo and Churro Sundae.
- Arepas de Choclo: Sweet corn cakes with cheese topped with cilantro aïoli and served with jícama slaw (NEW)
- Churro Sundae: Churros topped with vanilla soft-serve, spiced apples, and spiced chocolate sauce (NEW)
The cilantro aioli included with the arepas is so good, and you can’t go wrong with a cheesy corn cake. Our corn cakes were a little chewy, but it wasn’t a bad dish overall. As for the Churro Sundae, it was good! The churros were served al dente, and it wasn’t quite the flavor we expected — apple pie with a little spice — the churro is the main flavor, complemented by the heat of a Red Hot cinnamon candy flavor.
Nearby at Fairfax Faire, a Cast Member surprised us with a free Raspberry-Lemon Square, which is also new for this year! It has lemon filling and is topped with raspberry powdered sugar and glazed raspberries. It’s super lemony with a jelly-like texture. We’re not sure that it’s the flavor we’d seek out, but you might enjoy it!
Is There Event-Exclusive Merchandise?
This year’s merchandise for Jollywood celebrates Ollie, the gingerbread man mascot for the event. The full collection includes:
- 2025 Jollywood Nights Spirit Jersey
- Ollie Loungefly backpack (that, to us, is shaped like a coffin)

- Mug with cookie holder
- Ollie ornament
