Each ticket to the party also includes a complimentary keepsake ornament, showing Mickey and Pluto riding in a classic red truck with a Christmas tree in the back.
Tracker Tip: Our tickets to the party this year were provided by Unlocked Magic. Use our link here and you can save 10% on tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Disney Jollywood Nights!
Ok, But What About the Cookies?
One of the perks (and we’d argue, the best) of attending a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the complimentary cookies and drinks that are available throughout the park. There are also allergy-friendly treats available for those who’d prefer those options.
Here is the full list of complimentary treat locations and what’s available at each:
- Red Velvet Cake Cookie & Apple Cider at The Lunching Pad
- Buttercream-Frosted Chocolate Chip Cookie made with M&M’s Milk Chocolate Minis & Hot Cocoa at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
- Snowman-Shaped Pretzel & Cranberry Pomegranate Juice at the WDW Railroad station in Fantasyland
- Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookie & Eggnog at Gaston’s Tavern
- Hot Cocoa Cookie made with DOVE Chocolate pieces & Hot Cocoa at Tortuga Tavern
- Buttercream-Frosted Gingerbread Cookie & Apple Cider at Sunshine Tree Terrace
As for allergy-friendly treats, those include:
- Chocolate Mint Mini Cookies at The Lunching Pad
- Vanilla Mini Cookies at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
- Lemon Burst Mini Cookies at the WDW Railroad station in Fantasyland
- Chocolate Chip Cookie at Gaston’s Tavern
- Double Chocolate Chip Cookie at Tortuga Tavern
- Gingersnap Mini Cookies at Sunshine Tree Terrace
The allergy-friendly beverage option at all locations is a cup of water.
What Other Party-Exclusive Food Is Available?
There are a ton of new and returning party-exclusive dishes and drinks this year, and while you can certainly try to eat them all in one night, we ended up grabbing just a few items during our visit.
The first one was the Holiday Pot Roast Hot Dog from Casey’s Corner, which is an all-beef hot dog topped with pot roast, beer-cheese sauce, crispy onions, and horseradish mustard. It was… magical; the best hot dog we’ve ever had in our life. It’s covered in toppings and is definitely messy, but the mess is worth it for the flavor.
At The Friar’s Nook, we tried all of the new food items on the party menu:
- Jalapeño Popper Tots topped with jalapeño cream cheese sauce, bacon, cheddar, and a jalapeño popper
- Spinach Artichoke Hand Pie: Flaky hand pie filled with cheesy spinach and artichoke dip and drizzled with red pepper sauce
- Pig in a Blanket: Parmesan puff pastry-wrapped all-beef hot dog, crispy onions, and honey mustard barbecue sauce served with tots
The Spinach Artichoke Hand Pie was the most delicious thing Jenn tried all night, with the red pepper sauce making the dish for her. The Jalapeño Popper Tots were good, with all of the ingredients being tasty and adding to the overall flavor, but it just couldn’t compare to the hand pie. As for the Pig in a Blanket, it was super juicy and we loved it… just not as much as the magnificent hot dog from Casey’s.
What Entertainment Offerings Are Available?
There are a variety of entertainment offerings available at the Christmas party to enjoy, from stage shows and fireworks to a packed lineup of character meet and greets. Here’s the breakdown:
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
This holiday parade features dancing gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers, Disney characters, and even Santa Claus on festively decorated floats set to lively Christmas music. It travels from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A. twice during party nights, at 8:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Tracker Tip: Skip the first parade and catch the second performance to potentially avoid larger crowds and snag a better view!
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
This fireworks spectacular lights up the sky above Cinderella Castle once nightly during the party at 10 p.m. It includes recognizable songs like “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” set to bright and festive visuals. You can, of course, watch it from Main Street, U.S.A., but there are also viewing areas in Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Liberty Square.
Tracker Tip: This year, we caught part of the fireworks while riding on Tomorrowland Speedway, which was an incredible surprise! Paired with the festive lights and decor for the overlay, the fireworks were a perfect festive touch to that experience.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
Get in the holiday spirit with your favorite Disney characters with this stage show, performed on the Cinderella Castle Stage several times throughout the evening. Showtimes are 7:40 p.m., 9:25 p.m., 10:35 p.m., and 11:55 p.m.
Tracker Tip: Like the parade, we’d suggest catching one of the later showings of this stage show so you can make the most of your limited time at the party enjoying more high-demand offerings.
Frozen Holiday Surprise
In this special show moment, Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff from Frozen light up Cinderella Castle for party guests. This is performed twice during party nights: once at 6:15 p.m. for all guests before the park “closes,” and again at 8:15 p.m. for party guests only.
Dance Parties
There are two dance parties available during the Christmas party, Club Tinsel and Disney Junior Jingle Jam.
Club Tinsel takes place at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, and runs from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Disney Junior Jingle Jam is held inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m., and features appearances from Disney Junior characters like Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and more.
Tracker Tip: If you have younger guests in your group, the dance parties are a great way to have them see and interact with Disney characters without having to wait in long lines.

Tracker Tip: If you want to meet Jack and Sally, you can get in line for their meet and greet before the party starts during mix-in at 4 p.m. Their line can increase to a multiple-hours-long wait, so we recommend you get to Magic Kingdom early and do this first.
But Where Can You See Santa Claus?
You can catch Saint Nick in two different ways at the Christmas Party. He makes an appearance at the end of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, but you can also meet him at Santa’s Christmas Carnival in Storybook Circus. There, he meets with guests for photos and to listen to your Christmas wishes.
Are There Holiday Ride Overlays?
There are five ride overlays with a holiday twist to enjoy during the party (with one available during regular park hours, too!)
- Space Mountain gets a festive spin with a holiday soundtrack and matching interior lighting

Tracker Tip: If you’re also visiting Magic Kingdom during the day, ride Jingle Cruise then and skip it during the party to save time!
What Rides Are Available During the Party?
In addition to the ride overlays, several Magic Kingdom attractions are open with little-to-no wait during party hours. These include:

Is There Party-Exclusive Merchandise?
This year’s merchandise for the party has a red, white, and gold color palette with a classic-inspired holiday theme. All items can be found at the Emporium. The collection includes apparel (including an event Spirit Jersey), an ear headband, a mug, trading pins, a photo frame, an ornament, a Loungefly backpack, and Annual Passholder-exclusive items.
Tracker Tip: If you really want to get your hands on party-exclusive merch before it sells out, we’d suggest going to the Emporium first thing and buying what you want before it’s gone! If you don’t want to carry everything around the entire party, you can always rent a locker at the front of the park and store your purchases there.
