According to listings in the Nintendo eShop, the collection will be released for both systems on February 26, 2026. The added games will be Bonkers and Goof Troop, joining DuckTales, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales 2, and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2.

The games have new and improved visuals, and filtering options that “replicate a retro look and feel.” There will also be Boss Rush and Time Attack modes encouraging time-based gameplay. A new “Rewind” feature makes the titles more accessible to newcomers. The in-game Museum will have extras like concept art and music from the original release eras.

The Disney Afternoon Collection was first released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. The original games, based on the Disney Afternoon programming block, were created by Capcom for the NES in the late ’80s and ’90s.
