Woody’s backside, with a visible red Levi’s tag, appears early in the spot, which is titled “Backstory” and is Levi’s first Super Bowl commercial in over 20 years.

Toy Story x Levi’s

Woody’s appearance in the ad isn’t wholly surprising, as last fall Levi’s teamed up with Disney and Pixar on a 30th anniversary Toy Story collection full of Western wear, including a tote bag, jean jackets, a vest, and more. Each item had with one of six different character patches at the hem: Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, Rex, or Aliens.
