Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Reopening Date

The revamped ride will reopen on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Previously, Disney only announced it would reopen this spring.

Disney recently teased Toy Story 5 Easter eggs and more surprises in the updated ride.

We already know it will have all-new ride vehicles, replacing the original 1970s If You Had Wings vehicles. Guests will wield new handheld blasters and aim at updated interactive targets. The vehicles will have new displays and a revamped scoring system. A new training scene at the beginning of the ride introduces Buddy the robot. The climactic battle scene is also getting updated.
