BREAKING: Disney's Grand Floridian Gingerbread House Not Returning This Year

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort gingerbread house will reportedly not return for the 2026 holiday season.

According to Scott Gustin, Disney’s culinary teams will instead create new miniature holiday displays for the resort.

More details about other resort gingerbread displays will be shared later. We noted gingerbread details were absent from other Walt Disney World holiday announcements.

Last year, there was no gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort due to the lobby remodel. But guests could still enjoy the annual gingerbread carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, gingerbread Cinderella Castle “Dream Lights” at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the BoardWalk Inn gingerbread house, new and returning gingerbread animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and a small chocolate cabin at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
